Getting a perfect smile has never been more comfortable or convenient.
What is Invisalign?
Think of clear, custom-made trays that fit over your teeth and you essentially have the core of the Invisalign system. Crafted of durable plastic, the aligners come in a series, with each different aligner gently repositioning your teeth. We ensure a comfortable, accurate fit, as we use 3D scanning to take impressions of your current smile, and use the computer software to determine a course of treatment that perfectly represents your desired results. Every Invisalign system is different, as it is designed completely for the individual patient. Without wires or brackets to adjust, you won’t have to schedule as many visits, meaning less time spent in the chair. Invisalign corrects:
- Gapped teeth
- Crooked teeth
- Misaligned teeth
- Overbites
- Underbites
How Do I Use Invisalign?
Along with being discreet, one of the many benefits of the Invisalign system is how easy it is to use. You simply wear the designated aligners for at least 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Since the aligners are removable, you can eat your favorite foods without restriction and clean your teeth like you’re used to. Every two weeks, you’ll swap aligners to the next in the series, as each gradually shifts your teeth according to your course of treatment. You can expect to wear between 18 and 30 different aligner sets during the entire process, and many patients see results in as little as 12-15 months. We’ll check your progress approximately every six weeks and ensure your progress is on the right track.
